Advanced & Novelty Cursive Writing

Achieving the skill to write traditional cursive is a very worthwhile goal. Once you have accomplished this, however, where can you take your penmanship from there to make your handwriting more fun, creative, and interesting?

We will start by learning the simple techniques to flourish our cursive writing with fancier capitals, flourished loop letters, and ending strokes. From there, the fun really begins as you are introduced to variations in your visible language that will make your communicative penmanship both a delight and challenge to yourself and the recipients of your handwritten correspondence.

Relay Writing, Connected Writing, Baseline Writing, Puzzle Writing, Rainbow Writing, Cross Writing, Composition Writing, and Backwards Writing will transform your efforts into something much more than common cursive. You will now bedome a Handwriting Artists, creating a singular expression of your own visible language.

If you want to have more fun with how you write, this class is for you!

Cost: $50, payable to Mr. Sull at the door.

Supplies: Bring whatever writing instruments you prefer (fountain pens, ballpoint pens, fine-liners, gel pens, colored pencils, etc.). Handouts will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own lined tablet/paper. It is also recommended that you bring 20lb or lighter unlined paper that will be used with guidelines.
