Beginning Cursive Writing for Adults
If you managed to get through school without cursive instruction, but you’ve always wanted to know how to use “curly writing,” as one youngster put it, this is the class for you. We will cover all the basics of cursive writing: how to hold the pen, how to sit, how to make the letter forms, and how to practice once class is over so that you can continue to improve.
Cost: Free
Duration: 2 hours
What to bring: Several writing tools. Pencil (mechanical or not), fountain pen, gel pen, etc. Highly recommended that you have a fine or medium point and a tool that you can write with without pressing down too hard—in other words, ballpoint pens are not recommended.
A packet with practice paper and guide sheets will be provided. To ensure that there will be a packet of materials for you, contact Marilyn Lonigro directly at marilyn@stlpenshow.com to register.
