How versatile is one thin line? How about a fat line? Discover a fabulous variety of ABCs in this class, which will bring flair and creative expression to your journaling and outstanding excitement to the envelopes you send. When you identify letter groups having similar characteristics, you can apply those to enliven your words with meaning. Handouts will show how simple changes bring new life to the Roman letters you learned to print in school. Adding variations and patterns will expand your skills in imagining fun ABCs. Bring paper with a grid of dots or lines which are helpful for seeing letter features clearly. You will be surprised at how easy it is to give your words visual energy when modifying their ordinary characteristics just a little bit. This class is open to adults and youth age 10+ who have an interest in drawing letters.Speaker: Carol Savage
